I stumbled upon Stephmodo blog, during a search for inspiration the other day and it kind of gave me hope. They bought a 500 year old cottage in France, right near a castle. This is something that I've been dreaming about since my study abroad days. Someday... for now I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out for them.

So, I was having a rough day at work today. I took a quick internet break to check some inspiring blogs and I found something that just made the need for a hug even bigger! I'd totally buy him in a heart beat if I had the monies.

So this is my first attempt at a color challenge and a Kristina one at that! It took me almost all Sunday evening to get something that I liked. Sorry the pic isn't great. I tried to take a tip from Kristina and add a pattern to the background. Oh well. You have to start somewhere right. :)

I need to get organized!

Do you ever just get that sudden urge to craft, make, or create? Well, I just did, and I can't find any of my tools and supplies in order to do it I've torn my craft stuff apart and have come up empty handed and still have nothing to create with. I guess the feeling is just going to have to say repressed for now. Oh Well. 

Etsy Find

I found this dress while browsing Etsy, from the seller ReetAus It's made up of recycled black pants. It reminds me of an Anthropologie dress I wanted once. 

Ballistic

I did it! I started my blog. I tried to be clever with the name and title. But maybe it's too silly. I was reading up on the word Ballistics and it means "the science that deals with the motion, behavior, and effects of projectiles." and I kinda thought it was appropriate in that I'm a projectile shooting through this life like a bullet. A little deep for my first post, but oh well. I'm starting this in hopes that I'll be motivated to post all my projects and photos of craftiness and bright ideas. So here's hoping for consistent posts :).
